Make a Funky Pony This Monsoon Season!

Don’t let the monsoon get your spirits and hair down! Get a fab new make-over this rainy season for your hair with these dashing new looks which will save you time and a lot of headaches later on.

1.    The evening ponytail:  Just dress your hair up by teasing the crown, wrapping the front and top sections around a midheight pony and pinning them underneath. For an even more polished look, use a 1 1/4-inch curling iron to slightly curl the ends of the tail.

2.    The cheerleader ponytail: Straighten or curl your hair all over first. Grasp all hair in one hand down low. Start to pass the hair back and forth in your hands and go higher while doing so. Put your hair tie in and bobby pin down massive bumps. Secure with bobby pins or hair clips. You can also just tie the braid in with your pony.  Add a cute preppy ribbon.

3.    The teased ponytail: Put your hair in a basic ponytail, high or low doesn't matter but a low one would work best with very long hair. Put elastics down the ponytail every 2-3 inches, or 1 inch if you have short hair. Use small, thin, covered elastics -or rubber bands- that are close to the color of your hair. Pull the elastics down a little bit and then up again for pretty poof. Voila! Accessorize with a cute headband or head wrap.

4.    The half-up ponytail: Flip your hair upside-down and part your hair horizontally about a 1/3 away from your hairline. Brush the ponytail smooth or leave it messy. Secure with a hair-tie or a hair-clip.

These fast, easy and fun-to-do hairstyles are definitely going to make sure that heads turn in your direction! Enjoy!
